Legal Documents

The CEFSG Matrix project is pleased to be able to present a collection of legal documents related to the Canadian Expeditionary Force and the Great War.  In some instances there is a link to the document if it is large enough to have been posted by the CEFSG or others to the Internet Archives.  Where feasible, the document has been converted to text and posted as an HTML document so it can be read and searched on-line.

We will add to this list as information becomes available.  If you uncover legal or quasi-legal documents (Acts, Regulations or Guidelines) that are applicable to the Great War and Canada, we would welcome your submission.

The major categories for the forms of legal documents are shown in the TABS in the header of this page. If there is a link on the corresponding page, that means that either the text of the document is available on this site or that the document that is available for download from another site. If the link is not active, that means the document has not yet been scanned and uploaded or that we are still searching for the document.
